Confessions of a Daily Breakfast Skipper
I really don’t like to eat first thing in the morning, but know, it’s important to my overall health. Thank you Almased, because of your product, I now eat a nutritious breakfast every morning!
I was introduced to Almased two years ago at the Natural Products Expo. I was looking for a protein powder to use in my morning smoothies - one that actually tastes good! I was also cautious about ingredients and knew which ones to avoid. I have been drinking these morning smoothies every day for two years now!! Yeah, I’ve become a breakfast eater!!
As the owner of a natural, organic skin care company, I know that beauty begins from the inside-out. You can’t expect to look your best if you aren’t eating nutritious meals, exercising, and using toxin-free skin care. I’m turning 60 this year so good health is something I‘m very grateful for. Since starting with Almased, I never get sick!!
The first thing I noticed when I began making my smoothies with Almased (besides how GOOD they taste), was how long I felt satisfied after my morning shake. I appreciate that they use honey as a sweetener vs. what other companies use. Before Almased, I was noticing extreme energy swings during the day. I felt draggy every afternoon. No more!! I have the energy of someone 20 years younger than I am! Initially, I dropped about 5 lbs when I started with Almased. Now, I just notice I feel so much better when I’m starting my morning with one of the many delicious smoothies my husband Don and I have come up with.

Kelli's Favorite Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
- 8 Tbsp Almased
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 very ripe small banana
- 4-5 fresh strawberries
- 8 raw almonds
- 1-2 scoops ice (depending on the size of your scoop!)
Mixing tip: The water helps get the shake to the consistency I like without adding anything additional. Our favorite smoothie recipes we make in our Vitamix®.

- 8 Tbsp Almased
- 1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 6 strawberries
