Diabetic-Friendly Shake Recipe: Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients (for 1 person)

  • 8 tbsp Almased Original Protein Powder
  • 8 fl oz oat or almond milk with 4 fl oz cold coffee or 10 fl oz oat or almond milk with 2 fl oz expresso (cooled)
  • 2 Tbsp fresh or canned plain pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 ice cubes

Preparation

Brew & Cool the Coffee or Espresso:

  • Prepare 4 fl oz of coffee or 2 fl oz of espresso using your preferred method.
  • Allow it to cool completely by refrigerating it for 10–15 minutes or stirring with a few ice cubes.

Assemble the Ingredients:

  • In a blender, pour oat or almond milk and cooled coffee or espresso according to your chosen ratio.
  • Add 2 tbsp of pumpkin purée and 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice for a seasonal flavor boost.

Add Protein & Ice:

  • Add 8 tbsp Almased Original Protein Powder for a nutritious base.
  • Toss in 4 ice cubes for a refreshing, frothy texture.

Blend & Serve:

  • Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
